Description
History Heroes: KINGS & QUEENS quiz card game contains individual, beautifully illustrated cards of forty key British kings and queens from Alfred the Great to our present day queen, Elizabeth II.
Each card is illustrated to represent the individual monarch in history and shows their dates, her ‘house’ and seven gripping facts about them, including a joker fact about each character to surprise and/or entertain. Discover which monarch’s huge stomach exploded during his (oops, a bit of a clue there!) funeral, creating a terrible stench and who was described by one Victorian historian as ‘the most perfect character in history’.

Fun Way to Learn
History Heroes quiz card games are a really fun way to learn about history and make ideal home education activities and home learning games.
Allen Tsui –
We bought this as an eighth birthday present for our daughter and absolutely love playing with this set of fantastic, fact packed cards. With so many alternative ways of using the cards to play different games – such as charades, “guess who” and even a family quiz night in the style of a famous TV quiz show. We’re going to try the hot air balloon debate idea although this is likely to be a play format that older players will enjoy. I’ve also devised a bingo game format, as well as a game called “Your Majesty” where players score 6 points for the cryptic clues and 1 point for the easy clues. So much learning and fun packed into a little cardboard box. These game cards are just brilliant.
