History Heroes’ cycling heroes are covering over 200 miles in 24 hours this weekend to raise awareness for Williams Syndrome. They left Chester just after midday today and are heading to Nando’s in Worcester for a refuel before cycling throughout the night up the gruelling Fish Hill in the Cotswolds and further on towards their destination: a Fun Day dedicated to Williams Syndrome at the Departure Lounge in Alton. They’ve covered over 79 miles so far and weather conditions have been perfect: overcast with only a brief smattering of rain. The cyclists are faring well – according to the support team, they’re either smiling or grimacing as they climb the big hills. They’re not sure which.
They’re due to arrive at Worcester’s Nandos at 9.30-10.00 pm tonight. Nando’s mascot Barci will be there to greet them. They’d love to see you there too if you’re in the area.
